Nel 1992 viene pubblicato in USA, per i tipi della Fire Engineering Books and Videos, un operating manual for the training of recruits of the Fire Brigade Americans. It is the Fire Officer's Guide To Disaster Control (Fire Service Manual for Disaster Control).

Bahn, JD, Chief Executive Officer for the Los Angeles Fire Department and Captain, retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve.
